Zookeeper for a Day
Get up close and personal with a variety of rare animals by being a zookeeper for the day.
This is a unique opportunity to help to feed, clean and take care of an array of very rare and even endangered animals.
The animals you might be working with include Clouded Leopards, Brazilian Ocelots, Saki Monkeys, Dwarf Crocodiles, and Cuban Flamingos as well as a variety of other fascinating creatures!
The centre forms part of the Rare Species Conservation Trust, a registered UK charity dedicated to the preservation of the worlds lesser known rare and endangered species.
Need to know
Minimum age: 12
There are no height or weight restrictions
Fitness/Health: Participants should be in reasonable health as some walking around the zoo will be required.
The centre offers full disabled access.
Spectators are welcome to visit the zoo but cannot go behind the scenes. There will be a small charge to cover entry into the zoo. Couples may participate together however both must hold a valid voucher. Please check when making your booking.
Lunch is not included but catering facilities are available on-site at an extra cost.
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
